Help the stepmother relieve stress and the ending

Izzy Bell and her half-brother, Chad Alva, can't stop arguing. Chad's mother is tired of their bickering, so she suggests they play a game of chess to relieve stress. The woman helps the two kids set up the chessboard and explains the rules briefly, then goes back to sit on the sofa to relax. Chad, however, does not want to play chess to make peace with Izzy; he is looking for a better way to do that...
